I would really love to do both, but as of right now, we are $3,000 over budget! So we need to cut places! I really had my heart set on doing MK and Epcot, but DF thinks they are way too expensive. So now I am trying to decide what to do. I think I at least want to do Epcot, but then MK is only $350 more??? I need some advice. For those who have done both/either, was it worth all that money?

I just got back from our wedding. I begrudgingly spent the $1000 for MK shoot, in addition to the 6 hour package. I'm so happy I did. It was quite the experience and they will probally be the best pictures of my husband and I.

The wedding day; so many things are happenin, so many people. This is truly a time for the two of you, only!!!!

The shoots are early in the morning and if you are like us, I got up at 3:00am (yes, am!!!) to get hair and makeup done and then we were p/u at 5:00am. (This is after our 5:00pm wedding and back to the hotel for around 1:00am ish.) By the time 7:00am rolled around, we were so tired of smilin and getting our picture taken, we wanted to get to our beds so bad. No matter how magical it was.

That said, I don't know how much time you have for both parks, but do one, for sure!!!!!, is my recommendation.

for me my wedding won't be complete unless I get pictures of me and Danny in our wedding gear in front of the castle in MK. This is a perk that only DFTW brides get, take advantage of it.

We're over budget too, the MK shoot is what took us over.

I believe you have one year from your wedding date to get it done. It might be nice to come back around your anniversary (or any time within that year) to get all dressed up again :)

We really want these photos but if we can't afford it now, with the annual passes, we'll come back another time.

I really couldn't justify paying all this money to get married in Disney World and not have any pictures of DH and I in front of the Cinderella Castle. To me it is an essential even though it is really expensive! We added Epcot to ours aswell which I had originally not even thought of but when we saw it only cost 300 extra we just went for it! I can't wait to see the pictures, I think they will be the ones we will treasure most.

I really want to get the MK/Epcot shoot, so bad!

But I think I'd really want the CD of images, so I don't think I can justify spending $2000 on these photos... Especially considering my wedding photography is just a little more then that, and that's for 10 hours!

I really don't know. Like I said, I want it so bad, but can't see it happening...

I was just able to add an MK/AK shoot to our wedding. I never thought I would be able to do this but... I am SOOO glad that it is possible now :goodvibes

Just a shot in the dark, I kow its around $1300 for mk+another park, but what if you wanted to do mk + 2 or all 4 parks? Anyone know about that?

I just did the MK shoot and it was one of my best decisions. I love my MK pictures. I wish I would have done Epcot, too. DH and I want to do a "honeymoon" Epcot shoot on our next trip. I had Amy and she is AWESOME! I would not hesitate to spend the money and cut back elsewhere. One area you might consider is not getting your makeup done the day of the park shoots bc you can't see close up anyway, the pics are all from a distance. I would be eating scrambled eggs for a month before the wedding to save money to afford the shoot, but that's just me. I totally think it is worth it. It is a very unique opportunity.

I had an animal kingdom shoot, and they are my favourite pictures! DH and I agreed we like them even more than our ceremony/reception/dp pictures!!!

I think that it is truly worth it. Some of my favorite pictures are from the shoot. Also, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We did the Epcot shoot and it was certainly worth every penny. You can't get pictures like that anywhere else and they are some of our favorites from the entire day.
