MK EMH question

We plan on arriving at MK for the Wednesday EMH nite (Aug. 24) at around 7pm. Some questions:

Will we be able to get our bracelets at that time?

Do all four of us (DH, DD, DS, & me) need resort keys?

You can get your bracelets 2 hours before the reg park closing hours throughout the park - so if the park closes at 11 they will start handing them out at 9 , if it closes at 9 you can get them starting at 7. You will see signs through out the park about where to get your bracelets.

Yes you will need a room key for everyone in your party - If it is a busy time be prepared for crowds - Evening EMH at MK was PACKED on Wed May 25th - we got lots more done with the morning EMH.

It will work IF there is EMH that night, since they changed July's night to Friday not Wednesday I wonder what August will bring, We are doing the same thing the week before I hope!

I agree with everything stated above. The CMs do not just hand out the bracelets willy-nilly. In my experience during my week there earlier this month, the CMs themselves placed the bracelet on each person, and did not just hand them out. We were 6 in our group, one of them my 2.5 year old daughter who didn't have a room key/ticket because she's under 3. On our first night at a park, MGM, I was holding all of the keys, and I held them out and a CM took them from me and counted 5 out loud, then pointed to each of us counting 5 out loud, and only then did she begin putting the bracelets on us. That same night, the CM also braceleted my daughter just in case a ride/attraction CM might question her age. The next night, my wife mildly protested when a CM refused to put a bracelet on our daughter, but the CM very nicely explained that everyone will know it's OK for her to be on rides during EMH because she is with us, that there's zero chance WE were staying at a Disney resort but our daughter was not. Made sense, and we had NO problems.

I am wondering what the Ehm Mk days for september will be if Disney changed June and July days . If it remained as Wendays for evening and friday for the day, i would alright but now with the current switch i dont know. I might miss the Friday evening Mk day because i am going to La Nouba which is ok. But for the other day i have the KTTK tour in the morning
and i am wondering how much i can do before the tour.

Each family member who is staying in the room will have a resort ID with their name on it (except for children under the age of 3). If you get your tickets when you check in, the tickets will be on the resort ID (unless you have AP or PAP).

I already have my tickets, bought them seperately since at that time we were staying at my husbands convention hotel.....two weeks ago we decided to change all plans and stay on disney property....just couldn't handle the thought of missing all the fun

I didn't know they changed the EMH's for July!!!! I just made all my PS's based on what I knew of the EMH nites that had taken place in the earlier months. Just wonderful!!!! I'll probably have to redo everything once they post the hours. Jeeeeesh!

Good to know about the resort keys. Although the kids get them at the resort, we never take theirs with us to the parks. We have separate tickets so don't use the resort keys for admission.
