Small World is done! Now just Magic Kingdom and Pooh left! I won't get to work on them much again until Sunday, but I should be postal no later than a week from today! :thumbsup2

I wanted to post my pics. I am done with this one (I think) - I still have time, so I might change/add some things if I get the swapping spirit. :)

Thanks for looking!

The bottom layer is Gold from the DCWV Metallic Stack. The middle layer is Gun Metal Metallic by The Paper Company that I got at Michaels on Saturday. The silver is metallic and from The Paper Company and I got it at Michaels too. My Michaels only had 2 pieces and I used both of them and none of my leftover pieces has the label on the back so I don't know exactly what color it is.

I'm so lifting these.... I have a photo of the kids..and one in particular of my DD struting her stuff behind the sword... muscles flexed and all! Big goofball!!! ;)

Great work!!!

Mischief_managed... GORGEOUS elements!!!! :) Love them all!!!

Great job Mischief Managed! I'll need to get these added to the slideshow.

I need an idiot's tutorial for welding in CDS -- somehow I can do it in SCAL, but not in CDS.

Mischief Managed, those are beautiful!! The Dumbo one is my favorite (though I love them all!!), and I get that one!!

Great job Mischief Managed! I'm upset that I only get 1 of these! You had a lot to do, and you did a terrific job on all of them!

Also... what did you use for the rocket ships on the Tomorroland elements?

That is from a cuttlebug die cut. Wild Ride I think it is called. I have it too. ;)
It does that and a roller coaster, ticket & Mickey holding a teddy & balloon. It's pretty cool.

Mischief Managed, those all look great! Very creative! I'm sad I only get 1 of those.

Thanks everyone! :lovestruc

Mischief_Managed I had the same question those are so friggin cute!!!!

Thanks. AWM is right, it's a Cuttlebug die called Wild Ride - http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat843883&PRODID=prd22378. I got it for Christmas, and this was my first time using! It's a must have. :rolleyes1

Thanks! Welding in CDS is easy - you just type in the letters, make sure to click the check mark next to Welding, and then when the letters are all there - you can hit the nudge button to move each letter closer. I find it's easier to work from the last letter to the first letter because they will all move with the nudge. To know which letter you are moving, you just click on the letter itself (it has to be on the line of the letter), making the letter become a dashed line instead of a solid one.

The neat thing about the nudge function, you can move letters up, down, right and left. I've made titles where the letters were up and down - it can also allow you to have titles with levels that are still one piece - like the title for Main Street Vehicles "Moving Along".

If you keep it all within the one box, as you type/enter, you can even weld non-letters to the titles, like I have done with Carrousel, Wishes, Adventureland, etc.

Two things though - one is the pushing of the nudge buttons, it might seem easier to hold the nudge button to move the letters along, but for some reason the button sometimes sticks and the letter will continue to move across the page, and never stop - seriously! So you must keep clicking the nudge button, and not hold it. The second thing is welding shadows and then the top layers is a pain, but can be done if you start with the top layer first. Once you have top layer, then you can see how much of the shadow needs to overlap.

Maybe this weekend I can do screenshots of welding using CDS - I'll post it once I do! :goodvibes
