MK EE procedures?

You will need to go to the right of the castle. If the path leading through the castle is open, you can take that. If it is not open, take the path closest to the castle heading towards the Teacups. As soon as you can, head left. I’m not sure the open paths are the same day to day or may even change during ETPE as it gets closer to official park opening show.

For Pan you just follow the path mentioned that goes past the tea cups to Mine Train, just keep going past Mine Train for Pan. FWIW I haven't noticed any changes in the open paths since they've gone to the current EE procedure and I've rope dropped MK a few times in the past couple of months. They still don't have the path straight through the castle open, only the one past tea cups.

Thanks. I'll plan on it then.
I've read that you can now get in line for attractions (but not get on until the actual early entry start time). Would this be the case for PP as well?
And just how early would you suggest entering MK these days?

Everything is the same now. Once you tap into the park you go into the hub and the CMs scan you for EE eligibility at checkpoints near the FL path and the TL path. When they wave you through you just head over to your first attraction and you are lined up outside of the queue for it until it gets closer to EE start. When they let you into the actual queue depends on the ride. Idk about Pan but Mine Train they sent us in a few minutes before EE officially started. I remember getting off it right when 8:30 hit.

tbh regardless of what you're rope dropping I still believe in being at the park 1 hr before EE start to be front of park. At MK nearly everyone going to FL is headed to Mine Train so it's not the worst thing ever if you're trying to go to Pan instead and are a bit further back, but I would still aim to be front of pack for my first attraction regardless just because it puts you in a better position for subsequent attractions. I always say it's not about the first ride but ride 2 and 3. Front of pack means you're 1 step ahead of the rope drop crowds and can get off rides faster, and that time savings snowballs as the day goes on.

We pretty much only plan on PP and IASW during EE and then head to the Rapunzel bathrooms and hoping by then its 9am and can head towards HM. That's just been our go to RD for years now lol.
I wish they'd open the castle path only because I hate being a sardine with people headed to Mine Train when that's not even where I want to go.
Thanks again.

You'll be fine. The sardine issue is not a thing anymore at all now that they aren't holding people by the tea cups. I used to religiously avoid rope dropping Mine Train because I hated that situation too, we always did Space Mountain instead because until Tron came off VQ nobody rope dropped TL and the bridge was nearly empty. Nowadays it's downright pleasant going anywhere at MK EE, no hordes of people and no stroller battering rams lol.
