MK Early Entry Day?

I've read on another board that on EE days transportation begins early, but if you drive in you are parked in the day guest lot and stranded until regular monorail/boat service to the park begins later. I'm renting a car for the first time and was hoping to drive in that day since we have an 8:00a.m. PS @ Cindy's. Staying @ the Dolphin. Help!

If you have a priority seating, or are a Resort guest on EE day, you will be allowed to proceed through.

Right, but I'm wondering about the parking situation if I should drive in that day. I understand guests park @ the TTC, then take a boat or monorail to MK. But on another board a poster says that on EE days you are sent to the day guest parking lot and no boat or monorail service begins until regular hours. I don't want to get stranded, especially with the princesses waiting!

How early do the busses start picking up guests on early entry day?

Buses begin around 7:15, give or take.

As for the TTC... You will park in the Minnie lot. There is no tram service at that hour, so you must walk to the TTC. About a 5 min walk, not terribly far. From there, if it's an EE, and you are a resort guest, they will let you through. Or, if you have a PS, they will also let you through. Just be prepared with Resort ID and/or PS info. The Ferry & Express monorail will not be in service, however the Resort Monorail will be.

How much time should I allow for taking the resort monorail?
And if I end up taking the bus from the Dolphin, do you think it will get me there in time?

Staying at the Dolphin, you should have no trouble with the EE buses. Just be sure to be out at the bus stop no later than 7:15, and you'll be there with PLENTY of time. (that's assuming you missed the bus, and it makes all 5 stops, and then goes to the MK... if you catch it just right, you'll get there even earlier... but early is GOOD.)

For driving, estimate the same amount of time... be out to your car around 7:15.
