MK Dining Prior to MNSSHP

So here is an interesting thought and a question...

We are driving 3-hours to WDW for our Saturday 9/17 to Saturday 9/24 stay. I am buying 7 day tickets but would prefer not to use the first day until Sunday 9/18 so we can hit the park on the day we leave. I was thinking about buying MNSSHP tickets for that first Saturday night. I know it starts at 7:00 PM. Does anyone know if I could book a TS ADR for say 6:30 PM and enter MK on the MNSSHP ticket without utilizing a day from our KTTW?

In past years, you have been able to enter MK at 4pm with just your party ticket.

Correct, you are able to enter MK at 4 pm so I would book an adr accordingly. We did Tony's Town Square and were out in plenty of time...also were able to view the last MK parade before the day crowds left.

If it turns out there is no party that day, you could add another day to your tickets. An eighth day would only be about $5 more per ticket.

If you are planning on eating at MK prior to the party, since you can enter at 4pm, I would recommend making an ADR for 5/530. This will allow you time to enjoy the whole party from start to finish, otherwise you will lose the first hour and a half of the party eating! We ate at Tonys last year for 5pm, they had a special menu for the halloween party, and all the desserts were themed! By the time we finished eating, we were able to grab the party maps, and enjoy the countdown and the beginnings of the party. Just a suggestion!

According to the September 2011 hours, the MNSSHP party dates are on Tues & Fri in September.

Someone posted a link to the travel agents' calendar yesterday. That calendar has the MK closing at 7:00 pm on Tuesdays & Fridays in September which, assumably, are for the MNSSHP dates.

I supposed that could change!

I'm also interested in the special Tony's menu!!

We ate at CRT at 5:15 when we did MVMCP this past December. We got out at 6:30 PM and got in line to see Rapunzel and Flynn. I would just suggest not making it quite so closely to the start of the party. You don't want to spend precious party time eating.

Could you tell me more about the special menu at Tony's please?

The menu, as far as meals, was the same as posted online I believe. However they brought around a special dessert menu that had themed items. I wish I had taken a picture of it! However I do have a picture of the dessert I ordered from the menu

Sorry I dont know how to resize the picture! It was simple, but I feel like the simple touches really make the experiance all that more magical!
