MK Day Debate

Hi everyone -
I'm a longtime lurker but just started posting on the boards. My family and I are traveling to WDW February 26-28 staying off-property and I'm wondering what day we should do MK. Would it be better to go on a Friday with EMH or a Saturday? I know a ton of locals head to MK on Saturdays but wasn't sure if EMH crowds would be worse. Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

If you are staying off property and not able to partake of the EMH, then even with weekend crowd I would say hit rope drop Saturday morning and be there early. You can do a lot in that first hour if you decide what yall "have" to do and then a "nice" to do list. Go for those must haves.

Of course predictions are hard but most people seem to advise staying away from the park with EMH if you can't participate.

Thanks everyone for your suggestons. I was able to score a 8:05 pre-opening breakfast at Crystal Palace (Pooh is my 2 year olds favorite) on Saturday so I think that'll be our best option. Probably do Epcot on Friday and Animal Kingdom on Sunday. I wish February wasn't so far away!
