How are the crowds during the day at MK on days of MNSSHP?? Since the park closes at 7 and we usually head back to the hotel around then anyway we thought that might be a good day to hit up MK. is that a bD assumption that crowds would be lower??

Not MNSSHP, but we did go recently on MVMCP days. We chose party days as our MK days when we went this past December due to expected lower crowds on those days (compared to crowds on MK days when they had EMH hours). We felt the crowds were very manageable. The only downside is, that by 4pm there are little to no FP to choose from as same-day-fastpasses, because those with party tickets can enter at 4pm and have access to the FP pool. And standby lines start to get longer after 4 due to the influx of party guests as well. So, I would suggest, MK till 4pm and hop to another park if you have hoppers.

When we have done the MNSSHP, we have spent the whole day at MK. We usually have a bigger breakfast that morning so we get to MK at about 9-9:30. Usually by about 2-3 we've been through the park.

We've been there on both Christmas and Halloween party days. I agree that it's a good day to hit up the park if you don't mind leaving early (good excuse to make an early night if you regularly rope drop!). We've had luck with pretty low crowds and gotten plenty done.

We're planning to visit MK on a MVMCP night. We'll start with a pre-park opening ADR and end with a dinner ADR around 6. That should give us plenty of time to accomplish what we want - especially since my DS isn't tall enough for the "mountains" yet.

In our experience, MK crowds are lower on MNSSHP days. I've got my plans in place for it again this fall.
