I know people were wondering about crowds right now. We did rope drop this morning. By 12:00pm we had done all of FL. HM, JC , Alladin, POC and even saw Princess Tianna. Use FP's for BTM, Splash and Buzz. Everything was less than 5 min. No tour groups in sight . Left at 1:30 for a swim and dinner at Sanaa. My DW commmented that the crowds were
very low. We have gone mostly in Late Jan.
FP's Soarin and TT . Everything else was walk on . Not crowded at all
Back to MK last night for EMH . Rode SpaceM 4 times In about 25
min without FP's , Stayed until 2 and park was empty about the last hour and half and temps were actually a little cool . FYI were are following the the per day calendar until now and it works awesome AKL shows a high number

Oh we even saw the Country Bears ! Did not rain all day and it was a little warm but we are from Ok and it's mucher hotter there !

Thanks Mike.

We hit the raod in about an hour. Hope it holds true for tomorrow and all of next week. Here's wishing everyone cool nights and light crowds.

Thanks!

I've been following WDW wait times on my iTouch and today seemed lower than in the past couples weeks that I've been watching. I hope it holds out for the middle of the week into the weekend for us! I'm used to January also and would love to not have tremendous lines to wait in.

Yeah I have been looking at LINES and the wait times are not bad...TSM was only 60 mins a couple hours ago...thats not bad for July...

Same here!!! We did rope drop at MK the week of July 20, and had the same experience as OP in the morning. We, too, are vets of Dec/Jan/Feb/March, and usually go in early February during value season. So we are used to low crowds. We really enjoyed EMH/rope drop at all the parks in July - walked onto rides everywhere! We did the same as OP and left our morning park by 1:30 or 2pm at the latest.

Evenings were an entirely different story at MK and DHS. (Evenings at EPCOT were wonderful and relatively crowd free - still a line for Test Track, but easy to get around World Showcase and walked on to almost everything else.) But MK was so crowded that we couldn't get near the parade, could not move anywhere near Main Street, and the CMs opened up a "CM only" area behind Main Street to get people out of the park - and that was BEFORE the fireworks and way before park closing. The dance party atmosphere at both MK and DHS was very different from evenings in early February!

I had read crowd reports before our trip - some saying that crowds are really low, others saying crowds are high. In our experience, they were both right! But we retreated to BC for a swim and/or ice cream when it became too crowded at night and had a wonderful trip!!
