MK burger Comparison

Can anyone woh's been to the MK in the last year tell me if the burgers at Cosmic Ray's are still pretty much the same as at Pecos Bill's? ( I assume they come from the same place... )

I've never eaten at Pecos Bill so I can't give you an honest comparrison, however my family at at Cosmic Rays 2 times about 2 weeks ago. Each time at least 1 person got a hamburger. Both meals the hamburgers went uneaten. They were dry, old tasting, and downright unedible. We thought maybe the first time it was bad luck since we went later in the afternoon. We went right when they opened for lunch the 2nd day thinking they'd be fresh but we got the same stale gross burgers. Its sad when your 9 year old kid won't even eat a burger its so bad. Go to Pecos!

Well I guess I had a purposefully unmentioned ulterior motive in my question. I've asked in the past about the burgers at MK, and have gotten responses that Pecos Bill burgers were still good. We've always liked the burgers at Cosmic Ray's in the past ( found them similar to Wendy's, IN THE PAST ), then last year they put forth a healthy eating initiative and when we went in March 2008, we found the Cosmic burgers terrible, Dry bun, weird patty and I was kinda hoping ( though not really thinking ) that the burgers at Pecos Bill are different.... Like they are still the original... but I doubt it.

DH eats burgers at both places all the time, to me they taste the same and I guess to him they do too but he piles so much stuff on them from the topping bar that it helps to mask the burger taste!

DH is a burger nut when we're in WDW -- his preference in Feb: Pecos Bill's and Sci-Fi. He says they are definitely different. I only had the burgers at Pecos Bill's and found them to be the same as a year ago.

Eating healthy is good for you. When I'm on vacation I don't want "good for you," I want GOOD.

All the cs burgers are from the same place and are basically the same.Both Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays tasted the same to me.They also are both on the buns that are much maligned by everyone here( I happen to like them)

hahaha EXACTLY!!!

DH had a burger at Pecos Bills in Jan, and it was pretty nasty. He liked the toppings bar though. I had the chicken wrap, and it was REALLY good (had it in both Jan 08 and 09 and loved it both times). Haven't eaten at cosmic rays though so can't compare for you.

Well that's just it!!! We used to *LOVE* Cosmic Rays ( Or Pecos Bill really ) and were so heavily dissapointed with the burgers last year, I'm kinda scared for next year. Put it this way, we'd never tried Pinoccio Village Haus until last year because after that first time at Cosmic Rays ( we always go to MK more than once per trip ) we were NOT having another burger at the MK.

To me the burgers at Pecos Bills always taste better, don't know what it is but everyime I eat a burger somewhere else on Disney property I'm dissapointed.

They are the same, but at any given time you might get one hot and just as right as it is going to be at one place, or you might get one a little colder and past its prime at one place, so your milage may vary. Both places chuck out a gazillion a day.
