MK "babyish" for 2nd graders?

My DD princess: will be turning 7 on our trip this Sept. She loves MK! Her new fav. ride (since Sept. 05) is Big Thunder Mountain-she screams her head off (sorry to those people who ride in front of us!). She likes it in the day or night. We also have AP to DL and she loves going there as much as I do. She is only 44.5" so as she grows there are new rides for her to experience. Last trip to DL she rode the revised SM-Ooops! I should have gone first. It was too dark, too fast, too loud, and we couldn't find the floating choc. chip cookie anywhere. This time at MK I will ride SM first to remind myself what it's like and then decide if I think she'll like it.

As far as the characters go, she usually resists talking to them, but once she does, she thoroughly enjoys it! We can hardly get her to leave once she starts talking to them! :cloud9:

MK too babyish-Pppppllleeeaaassseeee!

Oh my gosh no! We went on our first trip to WDW last October with our kids (5,7,9) and they loved EVERY park. In Magic Kingdom they went on every ride and loved Small World and Peter Pan's Flight (including my sons who were in 1st and 4th grades). My husband and I even got a kick out of the rides!

All the way from childhood and even as a teenager I never once thought that Magic Kingdom was babyish.

I have no idea how old I am then.... I just turned 44 and I LOVE MK! It's my favorite place...ever!
The previous posters are right, some people just don't get it.
It's so sad that most kids don't have that active imagination and just the wonder of everything around them. Kids grow up too fast now-a-days..

Babyish?? I'm 28 and my husband is 29 and we both LOVE MK - I guess we're just big babies then :rotfl2:

I was just talking to my ds 12 and told him of this 7 year old. We will be there for our first time in Oct and I told him if he didn't have fun in MK I would tie him to the castle and let every princess kiss him His reply was that would be awesome :rotfl2:

All I can say, is that I'm 34 and I'm happy to be called a Disney Baby, plus my DH and DD, who are also counting the days :woohoo:
