MK area Studios With Best WL Chance?

Currently @ VWL, would be happy there except main pool is closed and had planned on a pool day pre MNSSHP. We are not interested in pool hopping unless the resort decides to offer complimentary tix to Blizzard Beach lol.

Now, trying for something else close to MK for short 2 night stay beginning 10/4. Realize chances are slim at best. Have been WL'd for standard studios @ BLT & GF for some time.

Not sure how many units are available in the studio categories @ BLT & GF. Based upon the number of rooms available, wondering if it would be better strategy to cancel either WL and go with BLT lake view(thinking since it had a higher point requirement and fact that the standards also can offer a side view of MK)

If this sounds plausible, which current waitlist would you cancel? standard studio BLT or GF?

Lake View at BLT would give you the best chance. Lake View makes up about 70% of all BLT rooms, Theme Park View and Standard View make up the remaining ~30%.

if I'm counting correctly via the GF view thread I only see 30 standard studios @ the GF. Going to cancel that & go for the LV, thanks.

VGF is only about 1/3 the size of BLT.

BLT has a minimum of 295 rooms and a maximum of 428.
VGF has a minimum of 100 rooms and a maximum of 147.

There are about 30 standard studios at BLT and close to 100 lake view, while VGF has 30 standard studios and 17 lake view. All studios at both buildings are part of 2BR lock-offs, meaning on any wait list, you will also be competing with those who want a 2BR lock-off. Since you can have two wait lists you can still keep either BLT or VGF standard view while changing one to BLT lake view.

Are you going to be at TOTW on Saturday 10/4? It's our arrival day, had planned to visit MK and then maybe Trails End for dinner but had considered watching the fireworks @ TOTW that night. we have MNSSHP on Sunday 10/5.

On the 4th we have Cape May Cafe reservations, but we like Trails End, would consider changing.....going to TOTW is definitely an option.
