Regardless of the reason she is gone, I am sorry that she is no longer at Epcot. She clearly touched a lot of lives & provided many memories & for that I thank her

You're not understanding the situation correctly. Disney wasn't saying that no one wanted them or that they should be sold. The issue is that the health department cracked down on them because giving the candy away violated health codes because it wasn't being produced according to health department rules. She was told that she would have to abide by the health department rules and she decided that she would rather retire (which I totally understand.)

I understand all of that completely and did not say anything contradictory. It is possible for people to understand the situation and still find it sad.
