Mixology Seminar

I was trying to order my AP MBs (which I still can't figure out ), but was distracted by the list of mixology seminars available to AP holder. All I can find via the link is a list of distillers and dates. Is there any other info out there? Has anyone ever done one before? I think it would be good mother/daughter bonding for my mom and I

I did one of these two years ago at Food and Wine - it was great! We did a wine-tasting seminar earlier in the day and were a little disappointed, but the mixology seminar was great!

It was sponsored by a particular company, so they talk about their company, but then they showed us how to mix three drinks and we got to try a small-ish version of each. We got a copy of the directions to take with us. The presenters were really funny, and although I never made any of the drinks again I am looking forward to another Mixology seminar this year!

I think they're a great cheap special event to try at Food and Wine!
