Mixing Site Types

I have never had to do this but it now looks like we will arrive a day earlier than planned .

However, they are all booked up with the exception of Partial Hook up sites. I have two preferred reservations for the rest of our stay but wonder if they would even allow me into one of those sites for the night. I would be minimally hooked up (water/power, no jacks, awning) with only the slide out.

I have no issues checking out and moving to our preferred sites the next day.

I have a 30' trailer.

Has anyone ever done this? Would they allow it? Does it just make better sense to hit the Wal Mart or another campground in the area for the one night?

We have arrive early and not been able to get in so we just camped off property did the walmart & outlet shopping then moved on !!!

30' trailer with tow vehicle probably 20' long trying to fit into a 20' to 30' site, not unless you have one of those incredible shrinking machines.

Just keep on calling.

I used to work at CRO and we were always told that partial hook-ups are for tents and pop-ups only.

Thanks for the replies. That is pretty much as I guessed it.

Fortunately, the 28th is an easier day to get. I just recently got 29th-1st which was really tough!

I'm glad everything worked out for you!! All you need is patience and free long distance when you're trying to get those hard to reserve dates! Oh, yeah, faith trust and help a lot too!

I just "pieced" together a reservation, I have 3 night at a perferred site, 1 night at a full hook up and my last night at a perferred. Just keep calling..... you might be able to change it. Good Luck!
