Mixed view on Kidani

Food situation sucks. We went to mara in the first day. Someone stole our food!! Another first at Disney. The choices were meh. Do not get the pork sandwich. Place was dark and dingy. Turn on some lights down there! One and done. We had seen bad reviews of Mara but thought it was just people complaining. They were right, unfortunately. We are going to sanaa tomorrow, so maybe things will get better. Jiko and Bama do not appeal to us.

How did someone steal your food? Did they replace it?

Trash is now removed daily during the daily room checks at DVC. However, your concern of the lack of cleaning of rooms now exists on the Cash side with guests being able to opt out of housekeeping for length of stay at Value and Moderate Resorts (here they don't even get trash removal unless they specifically ask for it to be collected).

Not only this but everyone putting do not disturb signs on their door for their stay even in years past. Can't say I even remember the last time I have allowed housekeeping to clean a room I was still in and I travel a ton. If there is that much trash I would leave it in the morning for housekeeping to pick up in the hallway (not at Disney but in normal hotels).

I just don't get this mindset. I would be more worried about the bus and rides than your room haha.
