ETA: Hi Michele! Hi Liz!
Oops. Sorry Blue. I was aiming that exclusion on a certain two other late night posters who need to be knocked down off their high horses from time to time.
I'm in, I'm out, I'm all about. Here but not here and all that jazz. And if anyone asks you didn't see me. Got it? Good.
I honestly didn't understand one word of that. Try again.
Hi, Cheryl. Bye, Cheryl. Miss you, Cheryl. Have a good time, Cheryl. Roberto pass it on.
k
So I only have to be polite to you on here?
We'll start with here and work your way up to more and more places. Baby steps.
I honestly didn't understand one word of that. Try again.
I thought your buddy E would help you out. Ok, written by Jerry Hubbard. Taken to #21 on the charts by Porter Wagoner. Jerry Reed did a cover of it later and his version went to #9 on the charts. Here's another hint: it's the title and the chorus that fits you and E and Lisa perfectly.
Because you finally realized just how wrong you were about me?
No, because I was amazed at how wrong Jean was about you -- sweet & kind? Please!
Maybe it's just too much and I should give it up and just try to watch the current films of today.
That's my whole point! Those ARE current films of today! They were released in theaters on October 20, 2006 and January 12, 2007.
Yup, that's how I dress for work everyday. Where'd you get that pic Jean?
Um, those skirts are much longer than the one you were wearing in the pic you sent me, E. So I guess I'm now confused as to which one is your REAL nurse's outfit.
Awwww..........................love you too, Rob(bie)!!!!!
Lisa!!!
Rob - the loyal one:
Congrats on your small count of 800 posts!!!!
Oh, and READ THE BOOKS MAN!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and another thing,
I AM the NICE one
k.....this post took way too much of my time
Thanks Blue! I'm glad someone around here remembers how we used to celebrate every 100 posts until someone made it to 1,000.
Ok, I will stop "internetting" and read the books!
Yes, Blue, I know you are. You need to be careful though about the likes of who you hang out with on this thread at night. You might get a bad reputation just from association.
I know! How do people find the time to write such long posts?
Bleu: (isn't that the way the French spell Blue?) Of course married women are invited. I was just telling the single girls about the bachelor cowboys. I don't think we have any single guys on the thread, so the only cowgirl that will be there is me.
We married people still know how to have a good time, right Bluester?
PEEJ: Where you going?
Are you challenging my status as the drive by queen?!?!
It's almost 10,
where are the rest of you guys?
Please explain E.
Oh, please.
Working. Some of us have to work during the daytime!
Good morning all! Love your hair, Liz!
Good morning Michele!
"I get up in the morning, I piss excellence."
I now have both the PG-13 theatrical version (on sale at
Walmart the other day) and the unrated version.
I should probably be ashamed to admit this, but this is one of my favorite movies. But I'm not ashamed. I watched the theatrical version last night, and then started to watch the commentary track. I nodded off about halfway through. In the commentary it's a 25th anniversary, and they talk about the 8 sequels they made ("the one with the puppets was a mistake..."). Will Ferrell has lost a leg and has a 6-hour show in Branson MO (he breaks out in song several times during the commentary with songs from his Branson show). John C. Reilly is a Michigan militia leader, victorious after the Nugent wars...
This movie honestly is the ONLY movie I have on blu-ray disc. After it, there is no reason to buy another. Ok, in the interests of full disclosure, I should probably also add that it is the blu-ray movie that was included when Santa Claus brought our Playstation 3 last Christmas. And I just haven't gotten around to buying others yet.
Yeah, well, bring it, cuz here I go just a drivin on by again.
Oh please. You and your friend are so funny (funny odd, not funny funny). You both want to claim driveby queen status but you both post every hour! That's not driving by so much as hovering. BTW, PJ did post 50% more posts on this thread than E since I last posted. Dunno if that makes E the winner or not -- just pointing it out to be "helpful".
Going with a couple of the themes of the day:
My bald head is what burns on me. That's why I wear a HAT:
My grandfather passed away on the day George W. Bush was sworn in for his second term. Poor man just couldn't last through another one! Grandpa served as an infantryman in the Army in the European Theatre, participating in both the D-Day landing in Normandy and also fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. We were pretty fortunate (or he was anyway, it was before my time) -- the ONLY somewhat major injury he ever suffered was severe frostbite on his hands and feet during the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944. He was on a ship headed to the Pacific Theatre ("Thanks for fighting the Nazis and Italians back for four years! You just won a free trip to Japan!") when Japan surrendered.
