Well, the medical profession doesn't ever really close, I would say. Sorry about your grandpa.Apparently, many medical professionals, at least in the KC area are working tomorrow as we have three different medical appointments for three different boys at three different doctors' offices but you're right in that DW and I are both off tomorrow. Although, frankly, I'd much rather have President's Day off -- I mean we just had New Year's Day off 19 days ago.
Today was my maternal grandparents' 62nd wedding anniversary. DS15 and I attended church with them and then took them out to lunch to celebrate. It's also the third anniversary of my paternal grandfather's death but I already did my crying the middle of last week when I started thinking about it.

Even though my grandma died 7 years ago when that anniversary rolls around it's still hard. We get President's Day off AND MLK day!A lot of places are in business tomorrow here in NY. Most doc offices are now doing away with this holiday and working. They give their employees a "floating holiday" instead. My Rob has to work tomorrow. He is a route salesman for Frito-Lay.
That's no fun.

FWIW: P&J and I didn't post on that infamous day either or the day before it. We were sick in bed lacking the strength (and/or desire) to post.
