Really? Wasn't like that for me and mine was mostly highway driving![]()
My drive usually took me an hour on a good day but if it snowed.....hooboy, I was easily looking at 2 hours![]()
I guess I'm looking at it mathematically...If it took me double the time, that's still barely 15 minutes, which isn't so bad. But 40 minutes...that's almost 6x as long as normal. And it's not like I speed on a normal day either.
See, here, the highways are cleared by the state plows, but the town streets are done by town plows. The state was out all night, I'm sure (my ex worked for the DOT and there were times that we'd go almost a week without seeing each other). The town roads, though, had barely been touched. Maybe once. So that slows everything down.




That's what they say. I can't wait to see it.
