Oh Liz

I'm sorry to hear that :guilty:

Her loss, sweetheart. So very sorry you have to put up with that.

Thanks...I think it's kind of ridiculous. I'm just trying to prepare her, that I will probably stay in a corner most of the day and not do a lot of talking. That's just how I am. Knowing her, she'll start ordering me around and speaking to me like I'm 2 years old. She LOVES to embarrass me in front of other people. If she physically shoves me (as in, "Get in the kitchen and help" *shove*), I'll probably smack her.

Liz, have you talked to a Doctor about your issues? Do you take any kind of medication? You may want to consider Lexapro. My sister and husband both had the same exact anxieties you have and after taking Lexapro for a month, they felt much better. After 6 months, my sister told me she felt normal. After 9 months, she felt bold and excited about the situations she used to dread. Just a thought. :)

Oh, yeah, I see a counselor every two weeks. Of course, she's not able to prescribe meds, but she doesn't think I need them. I'm rarely in these situations to begin with. I can handle groups to some extent - less than 10 people and I'm fine. My friends all know how I am, and at least one person is always willing to go with me because they know it's a comfort to have someone familiar with me. It's just my mother who is unwilling to accept it.

It looks like this just isn't going to be my day. Now I've made a coworker mad. She came to me with an order that she says never got ordered. My initials were on it, which means that I processed it without incident and sent it on to the next person, which is how the process works. She wanted to know what happened to it. How am I supposed to know? I'm not psychic. My part went just fine; otherwise, I wouldn't have signed off on it. She needed to go to the next person in the process because that's where something went wrong; I have no way of knowing (it's not something I can look up in the computer). Instead, she huffed, grabbed the papers, and stomped off :sad2:

Hi Liz~

Sorry you are having a bad day:hug: If you want I will smite them for you.:thumbsup2

Hi Michele... it's been forever:hug:

Hi Nutters!

Hey Pixie! Long time, no smite!
Liz, let Pixie do all your smiting--she has experience & cleans up afterward, a one-stop-smiting-shop! Perhaps she'll even get you a group rate

Hi Michele! long time! Hi Buzz!

Liz, tell yr Mom to snap out of it!
Okay, ask yr coworker, if she sees yr initials, then tell her, in yr most patronizing tone, she has the wrong cubicle. by all means draw her a diagram of the ordering process!

I am no good at certain meetings--too awkward. :headache:
This is why I don't do a lot of DISmeets.
I am much better posting than frightening my fellow DISers with a real, in person freak show :rotfl2:

Geez, I've got such a headache I'm feeling sick. And speaking of meetings, I've got a potboiler coming up this evening.
I think that will call for a little Calvados & cider

Hello everyone!
Anyone home???

PS: Liz... kick Psyco Sue for me.

Okay, I skimmed, I admit.

Thanks for the survey. Even though I didn't answer it I wrote down a lot of the questions and they are going to be used as journal prompts for the kiddos! :teacher:

Blue...no offense, but you make a scary Tinkerbell.

Liz...sorry you've been having a rough time.

I've been very grumpy the past couple days. This really isn't my favorite time of the year, especially the beginning of December, which is rapidly approaching.
Then tonight I got a text in class from my baby sister that my mom put my cat to sleep on Monday. He had a stroke. He was only 7. And just when was someone going to tell me about this????? First of all, I would have appreciated a phone call rather than a text, second of all I would have appreciated knowing on MONDAY when it happened. Third of all I wanted to bury the cat and my mom just left it at the vet to "dispose of it." :sad2: So then I was crying in class and had to leave the room which is always embarassing and it really just wasn't a good night.

But I'm not complaining. Nope, not me. All smiles all the time. :)

I feel like I need to say something uplifting now. How about it's almost Friday!!! (sort of)
