1. Egg nog or hot chocolate?
hot chocolate (Kahlua, Baileys, Tia Maria, DiSarno)
eggnog w/Captain Morgan
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Wraps---augh!!!
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
White inside, spotlights on the window wreaths
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
DH does!

5. When do you put your decorations up?
In Dec when we get back from WDW.
Outside before Thanksgiving. We just have wreathes w/bows on the front windows (10 windows)
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Aged prime rib w/Yorkshire pudding
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Grammy’s over & reading Peter Pan, we’re in the living room w/the tree lit.
Mom is in the kitchen baking cookies, good smells, pine & oatmeal!
The little German angel chimes are tinkling.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Huh?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
DS opens one gift. DH & I wait.
We're good at delayed satisfaction
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
I decorate with an anal attention to detail!
I learned this from my Dad—one by one, inner to outer branches, bottom to top, strand by strand tinsel—no longer!
We have multiple trees in different sizes.
One ‘craft’ tree—punched tin ornaments, paper cones w/dried flowers, felted angel etc
One ‘50s/’60s tree: C6 bulbs in primary colors, color wheel, blown glass ornaments, big star
One ‘modern’ tree: all gold, silver white mini lights, angel
Various small (3 ft) trees (fake) in bedrms
11. Snow, love it or hate it?
Nice if I’m not driving or have to shovel it!
12. Can you ice skate?
Yes!

Well, primarily religious. That and family togetherness.

We are great for tasting little bits of everything.
We do order beinenstich from a great German bakery

On Christmas Eve, DH & DS part the presents & lay under the main tree looking up at all the lights and ornaments, I read ‘The Night Before Christmas” & ‘The Polar Express”.
Then DS places baby Jesus in the manger

stars, angels
18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving?
Love giving!
I’ll take cash in lieu of gifts—I don’t feel its tacky people!

Great for décor, yucky tasting!
