1. Egg nog or hot chocolate?
Um...yes, please!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Apparently Santa thinks I'm too old to get them unwrapped.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Depends, really. I usually prefer white, but lately I've been trying to recapture the magic of my Christmases as a child, so that means multicoloured lights. Christmas 2001, though, I did a patriotic tree - blue at the bottom, white in the middle, and red at the top, with all red/white/blue/silver ornaments.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
For what?

When I find the time.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
We don't really do anything special, that we wouldn't do any other time of year.
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Watching the Nutcracker on PBS (the Baryshnikov version), with the lights off and the Christmas tree on. Now I've got the DVD and I still do it.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Hey, I have no problem with what Santa does with his elves...
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No. We usually don't have enough.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Lately, the wood and embroidered felt Disney ornaments that my mother and grandfather made when I was little. Coloured lights, star on top. And candy canes.

Hate with a passion.
12. Can you ice skate?
Nope.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Can't say I ever had a favourite.
14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Honestly, nothing anymore (I have a problem with Christmas due to losing my grandfather on Christmas Eve 1998).
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Gingerbread cake.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Taking the dog to see the Bright Nights in Forest Park (drive-thru light show).
17. What tops your tree?
Depends on what the other decorations are - either a star or an angel.
18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving?
Definitely giving.
19. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid; Happy Christmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon; Little Drummer Boy (Peace on Earth) - Bing Crosby and David Bowie; Carol of the Bells - This Ascension
