As I am the wife of a plumber, I happen to know this to be TRUE and they do talk about the dirty/messy homes (without having had brewskies )

I have known my BIL--an electrical contractor-- for about 30 years & have never heard him comment on the state of housekeeping.
Of course, he is one of the world's biggest slobs. Super nice guy, but a one man house tornado

One of my friends, works for the phone company. He told me he once had to go into an inner city nasty tenement basement on an installation job.
He was standing down there scoping out what was to be put where, when whoosh! someone flushed the toilet, splattering Bobby with excrement

Okay, my house isn't that bad!

Not doing much today. I got up early and went out to the apartment complex to get my tools and stepstool, and to take pictures before I left for the last time. Turned in my keys. I gave them to the assistant manager, so that means in the entire 6 years that I lived there, I never once saw the manager. If she walked past me on the street, I wouldn't know it.

Then I had a counseling appointment. Becky and I are trying to work something out for the rest of the year because she doesn't think I still need to go every other week. Now I'm pretty much just hanging out, working on clearing some of my stuff out of the porch, getting gassed out by the dog. Later this afternoon, I have to blow leaves off the driveway and sidewalk so the little rugrats don't slip tonight.

What's everyone else up to?

You know when I did my posting frenzy to pass P&J while she was out of town one weekend, I at least went and found interesting pics to put in each post, not just the lame DIS smilies. (I think that was around the time Jean had bats in her house -- or at least the attic thereof -- and most of my pics that weekend were bat-related.)

Liz: I noticed you said Hi in your last post and you said Hi in a post or two yesterday. I hope you're feeling ok.

Clean jeans, and a dark olive chenille turtleneck which, like me, has seen better days! I look like a seedy teddy bear wearing gold hoops & black Crocs
