Hi Nuts!

I lost another group of musical performers! :headache:
everything was looking up on Friday & this am, 1st email in the box, is a
'sorry, due to___________we will be unable to make it".

Well, it's been a while since high school orchestra, and I'm not real sure where I've stored my clarinet...

I play wicked air guitar!

Hello nutty friends

Just a quick hello to you all!

Jean: Ugh on the no-shows

Lisa: Hugs for you

I'll try and catch up with the rest later this evening.

Have a great day y'all :wizard:

Back to work today so I can rest a little bit.

Back to work to rest? Something about that just doesn't add up....

Don't worry, the Mixed Nuts ensemble will step up to the plate once again!!

p.s. Liz: My middle name is Elizabeth and my sister's middle name is Catherine (but with a K). Interesting! People who like the name Elizabeth must like the name Catherine and vice versa.

I'm off to class! :wave2: Hope everyone had a decent Monday.

Hey PJ! :wave2:

My dd's name is Katherine Anne - we just call her squidlet though.

Okay, that's a little freaky...Eric has two female cousins. Karen Elizabeth and Allison Catherine.

I also have a friend named Cat...you can probably guess; she's a Catherine Elizabeth.

Really that just makes more sense though. I mean, the kids at school would make fun of her if you called her Katherine or Katie or somethin.

Okay, now this is just gettin freaky because my baby sister's name is Alison!!! With one L though. I know 2 other Lauren Elizabeths too. And, I do have another middle name too. Yes, I have 2 middle names. The other one starts with an E too. Anyone want to guess it?

Men:sad2: my husband says the same thing after working around the house all weekend.

Liz-black is trendy and fashionable. But, a touch of pink never hurt anyone ;)

PJ-yes, Crystina is back in Orlando.

Jean- I can play the clarinet, does that help?

Squid! Look at our countdowns!!:dance3:

Heidi-you never did catch up, but hello!!

So, I'm still in Miami. I was supposeed to leave today. But, we have been having terrible storms and flooding, so Kev didn't want me to drive across the alley in the bad weather.

I did manage to entertain my self today. I actually fixed the toilet! It wouldn't flush and I thought to myself, how hard could it be. After a little online plumber training I went to ACE and bought what I needed. I did it! Sometimes I amaze myself;)

I also bought stuff to paint the outside screen door, but it was so windy outside the paint started splattering. So, that project will have to wait.

I packed up a lot of our personal stuff, as our time here will dwindle soon and tenants arrive for the winter.

So, maybe staying was a good thing. Now, I'm hoping to get out of here tomorrow!

Check out this afternoon's wind. The maintenance guy had to take away all the chairs and umbrellas because they were blowing away.

well, I'm tired from all that manual labor.
So, good night nuts!

Good Morning Katherines (Catherines) and Elizabeths!

and NUTTERS!

Cheryl, congrats on your plumbing skills!

In future, though, you may want to save wear and tear on the porcelain bus by asking the kids' friends to dump elsewhere!

At first I read that, "LOVE" :rotfl:

Well, I hope you did save some time for that, too, Rob!
Um, not in the physical sense. It was an all guys/boys all-sports weekend.

Back to work to rest? Something about that just doesn't add up....
PJ, especially at your age, hopefully you are hitting your weekends just as hard as your work/school week. You just bounce back quicker since you're in the prime of your youth and all that.

 Neither Keith nor I said we were doing manual labor around the house.

For me it was doing the civic good on Friday morning, some "real work" Friday afternoon, and then Royals game Friday night (where we clinched last place for the fourth year in a row) and NASCAR races both Saturday and Sunday (which for us means leaving in the late morning and getting home about 11 hours later and feeling like you had done manual labor all day as the sun and the noise and the vibrations all beat down on you all day).

7 a.m. meetings need to be outlawed. It was really interesting driving to work in the dark.

I have no idea what happened during the last hour of it. All I could think about was that my bladder was about to explode.

Liz: I saw the picture you posted of yourself and the socks - my DD has a pair like that but they aren't socks - they're leggings. You remind me so much of her. :goodvibes

Her best friends step-dad calls her "dead girl walking"

Don't know if I mentioned this here or not but she's going through a new phase (AGAIN). JoJo has decided she wants to be a vegetarian - something she's wanted and talked about for a long time but I think this time she's serious :headache: She hasn't eaten any meat for over a week now.

PJ - I know you don't eat meat so a PM with some easy "food" suggestions would be helpful. I'm worried about her.

Heidi-you never did catch up, but hello!!

I know, I know :sad2:

So much to read and too little time :(

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 for your plumbing work!

Those are some pretty powerful winds going on in Miami! Scary stuff

Hey - you're leaving for WDW soon :yay:

Oh ya........that sounds like a very hard weekend

Good Morning all

 Neither Keith nor I said we were doing manual labor around the house.

No Bob Villa weekend for me either,

We went and had a Great Italian dinner at Johnny Carina’s Friday night, we saw a movie and cruised the local mall on Saturday and Sunday went to watch my BIL compete in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, he did very well he won the Silver medal in his division and finished the weekend off with dinner at Mimi’s Café to celebrate his accomplishment.

I had faith that you could do it,

You saved money and that all too frequent embarrassing moment when you call in a professional
