Thanks, I was worried that the Koala Bears would be too much,
but I think they worked

A bigger gutter just means more room for my dirty mind to branch out...

Uh Oh!!!!! I see points in your future missy

Blue Bell - Thank you for the postcard! It's on my cubicle wall!

You're welcome :grouphug:

Got an email from Barnes and Noble this morning - the new Neil Gaiman Absolute Sandman Vol. 2 is available for preorder! Obviously I'm very happy...now to decide which credit card I'm willing to tie up for $71.

Decisions....decisions.

There were tigers everywhere I turned. And I've already heard all about the game. My dad and my baby sister went. I know this will be endlessly difficult to believe, but my baby sister LOVES football. She called me and told me about the game. I listened and pretended to care. Now that, my friends, is a good big sister.
Not that hard for me to believe. Heck, since I don't know your "baby" sister, I'd believe anything you tell me. It WAS a great game (sooooo much better than last Thursday's Colts game) and I don't even really care about the Bengals. I could see how a Bengals fan would really be excited about it -- so much so that she would call her fine arts loving sports hating sister to talk about it. ;)

:cheer2: Rob(bie)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Where have you been hiding lately??? :confused3

Found new chicks to hang with on the DIS or what???
Lisa!!! Really, who could replace you? :confused3

Helloooooooooooo!!!!

Gee, you're not around much anymore :guilty:
What's up with that?
I've been busy.

Hey, if I didn't get any points for the naughty Smurf picture I posted on the...um, previous thread...

You know, it's because you people twist my words around. I say something completely innocent and someone immediately thinks it's dirty. Now whose mind is in the gutter? Huh? Huh, huh?

Okay....

Quick! I'm channeling..channeling..yep! It's Rob! pirate:

He would like you to elaborate, Lisa!
I prefer it when we use this communicative approach -- less points for Rob.

At first, I thought what the heck is she talking about. I still have been posting every day and usually multiple times per day but I agree that I have not been spending hours on the DIS lately like I used to. I even had a couple of neat things happen this past weekend and I haven't even had time to post about them.

As I said in my last few posts, part of it is that football has started. Ok, here's a secret: I'm really not that huge of a football fan (never ever watched the games on TV until I got married -- DW was/is a huge Chiefs fan) although I have started to enjoy it more the last few years. However, it is very much something to do with my sons so... 3 hours last Thursday night (pro), 3 hours last Friday night (high school -- includes drive time), 3 hours Saturday (college), 8 hours Sunday (pro), and about 4 hours Monday (until I fell asleep with the score tied :guilty: in the 49ers - Giants game) equals too much of Rob's time!!!

The large time chunks of football TV viewing will wear off as the season progresses though and the excitement wears off some. Also, this is the time of year when some of my sons are playing both football and baseball so there is some extra time commitment there. Add in all of my chores that piled up outside while it was 150 degrees out that can now be done because we have highs in the 70s! :thumbsup2 plus the fact that I have a major project deadline at work in 34 calendar days :headache: plus kids back in school (so I'm trying to get up at a indecently early hour).

I hate to run through lists like that because I'm sure everyone else here's life is just as busy but the question was asked and so I tried to answer accurately.

No football tonight or tomorrow night so, if I get my work done, I should be around a bit more. I do generally try to get on the DIS and that other three letter word thing at least from 10:15 to 11:00 your time most nights and pop in at lunch when I can.

Ok -- took time away from work just so I could respond but now I have to get my nose back to the grindstone.

Hooboy RobIn,

A simple "I've been busy" would have worked here :rolleyes1

You'd be surprised to hear what is legal in Canada

kettle.....pot? or whatever

*packs bags and heads for Canada*

Well, I am wearing black, of course...

Now...for anyone...am I being high-maintenance, or is it okay that I am irked by this? People seem to think that my garbage and recycling bins, which are under my desk and well inside my cubicle, are communal receptacles. My cubicle is set up in such a way that there is a "doorway" about 2 feet wide, so they have to come inside, then look around while asking, "Where's the garbage?" Is it wrong of me to resent the constant interruptions? When my cubicle was at the other side of the room, if I changed the paper at the printer, I took the garbage back to my cubicle and threw it out in my own bins so as not to disrupt the person sitting closest...

Why did I have to come back to work? The episode of Star Trek TNG with Scotty from TOS is on... :sad1:
