I'm packing up my laptop now and just saying

Good-bye!!!!!!!!

I wanna go where it's warm, too! It's all of 59 degrees here right now...I'm wearing a sweater over my long-sleeved shirt today. I pulled out socks and my Chuck Taylors, too. I'm really trying to keep warm because I still have a touch of pneumonia (yep, after 3 months) and I feel better in the heat. I can't wait until it's 90-something on Saturday.

Hey Heidi - have a great trip. If you can squeeze it in, meet us at JellyRolls on Saturday night at 10:00!

I won't be too difficult to spot Heidi. Here's a picture of me passed out in the parking lot from the last time I was allowed out of the house by myself!

Put me down Rob! And next time - watch where you put your hands Mister.

Big week for some of us with our kids leaving :(

Time for me to start job #2 today. I'll be looking at all this stuff, counting, sorting, cleaning, staffing. I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Premenstrual Syndrome: PMS is a disorder characterized by a set of hormonal changes that trigger disruptive symptoms in a significant number of women for up to two weeks prior to menstruation. Of the estimated 40 million suffers, more than 5 million require medical treatment for marked mood and behavioral changes. Often symptoms tend to taper off with menstruation and women remain symptom-free until the two weeks or so prior to the next menstrual period. These regularly recurring symptoms from ovulation until menses typify PMS, premenstrual syndrome.

I think you're on the wrong thread dude :teeth:

Try the PMSers thread

Hi, Jean. Bye, Jean. Looking forward to you posting more. :cheer2: I miss your posts even though I can't follow them half the time.

It is SUPER hotT here. It was about 100 today. Our school is not air conditioned. The entire back side which is where our classroom is located is solid windows. When the sun starts shining in there it gets unbearable. You should have seen our little guys, their faces were all bright red and a lot of our 1st graders were crying. And, well, when you get one of them crying a lot more join in! One little boy had an asthma attack because it was so hard to breathe in there. It felt like a sauna.

We weren't teaching at all. All we were doing was getting them popsicles and water bottles and trying to keep them calm. A lot of them were nervous because it's the beginning of the school year then you add in the heat and we had more than a few meltdowns.

Around 10 the principal came around and told us to call parents and send the kids home, it was just too hot. They'll be dismissed at 11:30 tomorrow and school was cancelled for Friday. I'm not complaining! A lot of schools around Cincinnati are doing the same thing because most are not air conditioned.

PJ & Cheryl:

My phone (pay as you go) won't work in the U.S. :sad1:

Very tired now :faint:

Sleep well y'all!

I'm so glad you posted! We were worried about you! Two weeks of no texting?? I'm :sad1: :sad1: I hope you are able to get online once in awhile. Sure will be quiet around here.

BTW, if you don't find a place to stay at Cocoa Beach, there is a nice Hampton Inn in Daytona Beach near the airport and race track that is usually reasonable. I didn't know you didn't make reservations. It's tricky in Cocoa because if there are ships going out the rooms get booked up.
Call me if you need help.

Drive safe!!

I'm glad it was just something like that and not you purposely ignoring us! I was texting in the vatican though ya know, Blue. You gotta have a working cell phone at all times! Hope the drive's going well. You still have my number in your phone, you could call ya know! :rolleyes1

Welcome to the ungodly hour of 6:30am. My favorite time of day. :sad2: I just texted Cheryl. I sure as heck hope her phone was on silent or she will be coming to Ohio to KILL me. Off to the heat box. Wish me luck.

Have a good day, Nuts. :grouphug: I'll be back before you know it...early dismissal again. :woohoo:

pirate: just to brighten everyone's day....
