Mixed Nuts Part 2

No really Keith, it's funny you posted. I hopped on to ask you a question.

I need to book my flights for CA soon. We want to see Yosemite. I think we only have two weeks, I may be able to stretch that by a few days. Do you think we should fly into Sacramento or just do the RT from LAX, which is less expensive and maybe see some sights if there are any from LA to Yosemite? We have already done the Napa, SF thing. Are there any other sights of interest you think we should see in another area that can include those two stops? I have 9 nights booked for DL and our conference right now. Leaves about 6 or 7 more nights.

It looks like a member of the "Mixed Nuts" has given their all....

I think we should all crack a nut in honor of our fallen comrade.

I wasn't aware that squirrels could be so violent...

Liz,
Looks like you had some fun last night! Even us old broads can have a good time once in a while. I'm jealous of Andrea's tiara!!
I see you chose beer ;)

I guess that would depend on who you ask???

I think so, but I know a few people that would argue that.

Waiting for noon, taking off early to get started on the weekend

It's past noon here, so go! Have fun!!

That looks just like Rob! May he rest in peace. And now that he's gone, let the party begin!!!! :woohoo:

I did and it was excellent. Ten Penny Ale - I think it's a local thing, from the Olde Burnside Brewery in East Hartford. If I'd had some of the fruity mixed drinks that Andrea and Danielle had (Tracy refrained, she's pregnant), I would have been wasted.

Here's something crazy...I promised this nurse babe lady I would go to a football game with her if she promises to explain it all to me. I think I really have lost it. Never did I ever think I'd see the day where I went to a football game.

My friend Lisa (no, she's not Canadian) is coming to see me on Monday and I go home on Wednesday. I think everyone's all caught up on PJ now. I'm off today. The end.

I hate football. I did see a glimpse of the Colts at Super Bowl. I probably have some pictures too. I will see a glimpse of whomever is playing the Dolphins tomorrow night. I think baseball players are much cuter ;)

And.......: :(

Hi PJ! Is that wishful thinking?

BTW - Hey Rob if you are thinking about sending flowers to PJ - don't use 1-800-flowers! I'm just sayin...;)

Yosemite is about 5-6 hours from Anaheim, there is some beautiful scenery along the way and things to see and do. There are a number of ways to get there depending on how much time you have. You could see a lot in 6-7 days, you could take one way up and another way back. If it were me and I was going to rent a car anyway I would probably do the cheapest airfare.

I'm more interested than words can even express. Here's something crazy...I promised this nurse babe lady I would go to a football game with her if she promises to explain it all to me. Here's the only important thing that you need to know - cute rumps in tight pants!

There will be no glimpsing tomorrow night. Tomorrow night will be all about you making money so you can come see me Monday. Got it?

AND THEN ON TUESDAY CHERYL IS COMING TO SEE ME!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :yay: :cool1: :dance3:

My lips are sealed.

rumps :rotfl2:

*sigh* How nice. You're lucky that I know you love me (not sure if you won't admit it or if you just don't know it yet). And you're going to miss me now that I'm gone.

Just keep tellin yourself that. As someone would say...whatever helps you sleep at night.

Does nursebabe have Colts tickets? Say, to the November 18th game against one Kansas City Chiefs team? Just askin'' since when I looked online yesterday at stubhub.com good seats to that game were selling for over $500 each!

Okay, thanks. I will weigh out the airfare, right now it's looking like it's $125.00 more pp to fly in closer to Yosemite and that really only saves us 2 hours or so of driving. So, maybe we'll do the RT. Once I get the airfare in line I can tweek the rest. Appreciate your imput Keith!

Don't know. But, what I do know...
While I may lose my sanity long enough to agree to go to a football game with her I will never ever ever be crazy enough to spend $500 on a ticket. Never.

I might consider going up Highway 101 to Monterey/Sausalito area then cut over to Yosemite, then head north to Lake Tahoe or South East to Las Vegas before heading back to LAX.

If you would like I will be glad to hit the local “California Welcome Center’ and pick up some things to do in California pamphlets for you.

Hmmm, that sounds like a fun plan. We did just go to Tahoe though, I was thinking more of hitting the south area of LA if we can try and fit that in. I would love to see Santa Barbara.
I would love some of those touristy pamphlets and maps!! Thanks :)
