BTW, anyone good at decorating? I think I really like this bedding and now I'm not sure what colour(s) for the wall and carpet...I was originally wanting a silvery-grey for the wall and something darker for the carpet, but that won't go now, will it? I can't do anything "outrageous," my mother says.

I only 'do' 18th, early 19th century--& not good at that!
The Martha Stewart gene skipped at least 3 generations of women in my family.
I swear my DSis' house decor looks like a Chinese restaurant/bordello
Mom had red shag carpeting--not when it was 1st trendy & not when it was Retro

Nope, I hardly have anything black! In fact, I tend to lean more toward burgundy for decorating...I can't do anything to the walls in my apartment, so they are standard apartment white, and the carpet is beige. My comforter is red, grey, and black, and my sheets are red, too.

As far as religious artifacts, this is the closest thing I have...

Oh, I've got a couple of Gothic-ish picture frames! A couple of "dark angel" candleholders (similar to these, but with the arms crossed over the chest and no roses...

A weeping seraph sculpture...

And a bouquet of black roses in a champagne bottle. But no chains or manacles, sorry.
