I'm one of the ones who WAS sleeping in...I didn't get to sleep until after 2 a.m. Too wired! I told my mother about Michael and she's not quite as excited as I am. Of course, I'm having my doubts this morning again...I have such a hard time getting to the meetings. I kind of hope he'll contact me directly about what he found on his tape, if anything. Then maybe we can talk some more...I don't want to keep emailing him; that smacks of desperation. But I am hoping that he got to know me a little more and might be interested.
And apparently Gram is JUST FINE again today! Completely lucid and being really nasty to my mother. She hasn't eaten or even had any water in days. Mum tries to give her her painkillers and anxiety meds and Gram says, "Are you trying to kill me?" She's back to glaring and just plain being defiant. She's not going to go without a fight, that's for sure. I just wish she'd fought months ago when she first came home...not given up and decided to never walk again, and maybe she should have had dialysis. Oh, well, we can't change the past.
PJ - I don't really play the guitar. I always wanted to, but my mother would never let me take lessons. I inherited this guitar and got a "Guitars for Dummies" book, but because I could never tune it properly, I couldn't play a decent chord. Now I should be able to. Wonder if Michael might be willing to teach me a few things...
