Michlele,
Hello
I hope you get those Gallstones taken care of!!

Hi Nuts! Just some somewhat random ramblings tonight...

LOL E! Thanks. I was being mischievous at the time;)
E? That's Blue. :rotfl2: Not really, just messing with your mind Cheryl.

It was ALL Liz's fault we discussed bananas and tassles. :rolleyes1

DW and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary today. Here's how we celebrated: We did so by working our normal days (which means her up by 4 to be at work by 5, me up by 6 to get the 4 kids off to their day's activities, and then to work by 10) and then DW took DS11 to his ball practice at 5, DS9 to his ballgame at a different park at 5:15, DS14 to his umpiring job (at yet another park) at 5:30, and then back to DS9's doubleheader at 5:45. I got to DS9's games about 7:45 and gave DW an anniversary kiss between games and then left at 8:15 to take DS11 to his guitar lesson. I got back to DS9's games about 9:20 after DS11's guitar lesson was complete and DW passed her scorekeeper's pencil to me and then headed home so she could go to bed to be up by 4 to start another day tomorrow. I then took DS9 and DS14 to Taco Bell for a late night meal and got home about 10:45.

Just the romantic life DW used to dream about as a young girl. :rotfl2:

I don't write any of the above to complain or to brag because I'm sure we all have similarly busy lives. It's just interesting to me that it's a far cry from what you first envision when you're starting out. In fact, those first six years or so we were able to celebrate by going out for a nice dinner (and sometimes dancing) and then coming back to "celebrate" at home together. The last four years we've spent our anniversary at the ballpark and I don't see it changing any over the next four (unless we have rain on this date some year that rains the games out).

I try to keep in mind that some year we will be able to have our anniversaries back to ourselves again and the house will be quiet after the boys are all grown. I'm not sure if I'll be glad to be back to being able to celebrate our anniversary however we want or if I'll miss these days when our only celebration was a simple kiss exchanged between ball games.

I am now going to head off to bed with her so we can at least doze off together. Everyone have a great night!

-- Rob

Hello Liz!
Where should you be??

Sleeping...I'm still recovering from this pneumonia or whatever it is I had, and I have to get up in 6 hours. But I've got so much on my mind, I can't sleep right now.

Guess I'll go try again...

I hope you feel better soon Liz! When my husband had it, it took months before he felt healthy again. Get yourself some vitamin B-12 shots, that helped him a lot.

I hope you were able to get to sleep. I ahven't been able to get back on the DIS until now.

Rob,

Yes, life gets in the way sometimes.
Maybe you can celebrate a different day. We usually have to work on our anniversary because November is such a busy month for us. I don't know the last time we celebrated it on our actual date. maybe you can plan a romantic night out on another day and surprise her.
God knows she deserves it putting up with you all these years:angel: , and all those boys in one house!!!!

Hello Nutters.

I have had quite enough of lying in bed and quite enough of dear mother. Since I still seem to need to lie in bed, we are working on the Changing of the Grandmothers tomorrow. One grandmother (yep, dear mother) seems to be resistant to participate in this occasion. Any motivational tips?

:wave2: Nutters.

Rob, that's what we get for having so many boys and anniversaries in June. Maybe we should have thought of those things way back when. Congratulations!

Liz: hope you're not too tired today!

Cheryl:
The pic was great. You blend naughty and nice so well! p.s. I'm leaving tomorrow. I assume the laptop is arriving today.

Paige:
I wish I had some motivational tips for you. All I got is a cyber hug. Hope everything goes well.

Michele: Long time no see. How the heck are ya?

blue: We are two ships passing in the night anymore. miss ya sistah!

GoDaddy: are you even around? Hi if you are.

tiffer: aren't you going to WDW soon?:rotfl: I think I have my story straight now.

PJ: Did you go somewhere? It's been quiet around these parts.

Lisa & Pip Hope you're having a nice vacation.

TO ALL ELSE, HI, HOW ARE YOU, I'LL MISS YA WHILE I'M GONE!

I'm pretty tired tonight. I didn't turn off the History Channel until 4 a.m. I dozed on and off. I hate when I get a bad feeling about things.

Good morning Nutters

I'm surprised you remember what a snowball is, Florida girl! BTW, I think you still owe me an album link from your LAST cruise (before this one).
I get that mother/daughter think mixed up with Blue also.

I want the link too!!!!

Gram is crabby and demanding. So I guess she's okay and not going anywhere soon. My mother is starting to get depressed because she can't go anywhere or do anything.

My thoughts are with you Liz :grouphug:

It's hard on everyone and can be very exhausting.

Happy Anniversary!!!!

At least you both remembered your anniversary!

We celebrated our 18th earlier this month. DH and I were out on the boat, it was a Sunday afternoon and hubby asks me "When is JoJo's birthday?" (Her birthday is two days after our anniversary)

As soon as I replied that it was on Tuesday, we both realized that we had forgotten it was our anniversary.

He came over and gave me a kiss and we laughed about it. After that we reminisced about our wedding day and years gone by.

Good afternoon!!

Sorry you still couldn't sleep Liz :(

E:confused3 I can't believe it hasn't come yet. Wow, that mail is slooooow.
Have fun on your trip!!

Blue, that is too funny about your anniversary.
I put reminders in our phones and computers. Never miss out on the chance for flowers or a good gift ya know;)

we're back talking about tassles again??:lmao:

This is what we resort to when Lisa and PJ are out of town??
Can't imagine what is going to happen when E leaves.

Okay, I'm in love:love:

with Terra Chips!!!!
I can't stop eating them.
I have seen them countless times in the grocery store, but never gave them a second thought.
My GF offered me some the other day at the beach and I haven't stopped since!!! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Ok, which ones? Exotic Vegetable? Unsalted Potato? Golds? Sweet Potato? Potpourri? Stix? Frites? Blues? Red Bliss? Taro? Kettles?
