Finally time to head home

After spending the day reading, posting and PM'n I'm exhausted.

Yes, that does sound stressful.

I had kind of a stressful night. My best friend who I'm very close to called me this afternoon while I was babysitting. She was sobbing and she has asthma so she couldn't breathe and I couldn't understand a word she was saying. Once I finally got her to calm down she told me a refrigerator had fallen on her (long story). The worst part was that I was babysitting so I couldn't go to her. I called my mom who went to be with her and I took the kids to their grandma's and then took my friend to the ER. A couple xrays and a few hours later, she has bruised and fractured ribs. Very painful for her, but she'll be fine. It was just so stressful because she was so worked up and I have a hard time remaining calm when those around me are crying and upset. She's been my best friend since 4th grade so it was hard to see her like that.

After the ER we came back to my apartment to watch Dream Girls but we both slept through the whole thing!! The only reason we woke up was because one of my roommates came home and was laughing at us saying, "wow, that must be a good movie." Now Eren's passed out on my couch after taking vicodin so hopefully she can sleep. She'll probably be mad I didn't wake her up and make her go home but enough's enough, it's time to sleep.

Thanks. She's still asleep on my couch. I kept waiting for her to wake up before I left but I have to go now. I'm sure she'll be fine. I have to run some errands and do some baking. Then I have a ballet class at noon and then Elisabeth will be here!!! We'll try to stay out of trouble. Catch you Nuts later.

Whoo-hoo! The boss just handed out the new office "map" - I get to move to the other side of the room, which means no more having to listen to Psycho Sue sing along with her iPod, no more AC in my face, no more open window on my back when it's 30 degrees in the winter!

It was fun until the fourth quarter when the Colts took full control. I'm sure it was fun all the way through if you're a Colts fan (which is NOT to say I was cheering against the Colts -- just that I prefer to see a close hard-fought football game).

OMG! I hope she's doing ok today. That does sound painful.
