On our arrival to MCO we did not see the rep from the service standing with the sign, but we arrived at the airport early. By the time we found our luggage the drive was trying to find us, so maybe we just missed him the last time. He was very helpful and carried some of our bags (we had 4 so he couldnt manage them all,
. Arrived at the car, very spacious, and pleanty of trunk room to fit all of our bags. He opened the door for us to get in, and then put all the bags into the trunk himself. We had a grocery stop at publix. He said that store had the best prices in the area, and took us to one that was not in airport or disney area with inflated prices. He carried our purchases to the car. The whole trip he was giving us info about the places we were passing. We arrived at the resort (POR) he unloaded our bags, suggested a pick up time for us, and left wishing us a great trip. That part of the service was excellent in my book.
The pick up trip was less good. The driver was 10 minutes late. (She left a msg on my cell, but since service wasnt good, i got it on the way to the airport, oops). She tried to put our bags in the car, but 2 were very heavy and my husband had to assist. We begin traveling toward the airport and find out that she doesnt know where the airport is. (Panic, but we added an extra half hour onto our departue time, so we had some time to spare) Luckly there are many road signs for the airport and she managed to get us there. She seemed to either have no experience with the car she was driving, and very little experience driving at all. She made an illegal uturn, and turned a corner from the wrong lane and almost got us hit by another car. To say the least, i was worried. She also received several cell phone calls while on the road. Like 4 calls in the 30-45 minutes. She answered 2 of them, which we thought was unprofessional, as well as the fact that it made her driving even more erratic. (She tried to change lanes into another car) We made it to the airport in reasonable time and alive and unharmed.
I wouldnt hesistate to use cartier again, due to the arrival trip, but I have sent an email to cartier to have the return trip driver, get more familiar with the roads, rules and car, before taking any body else.
