Mix up?

On our 10-17 Wonder cruise the room we are assigned is 6098 but on the DCL website it says we have a category 7 with a navigators verandah. Looking at the map of the ship it says that 6098 is a regular verandah. When I first booked I was told that we had a navigators verandah which would have been fine but i did not want to be near the front of the ship, and all the navigators verandahs are near the front of the ship. On our last cruise I really felt nauseous when I was anywhere near the front so when I called then to inquire about this they said they would see what they would do. At this time there was only a GTY assigned. Now we are assigned 6098 but it still says navigators verandah- should I just relax because we are assigned that specific room and not worry about it?

If you booked a navigator's verandah.....congratulations! You just received an upgrade! The room number you gave is a regular verandah fairly near mid ship....just a little back from the middle of the ship. The navigator's verandahs are actually all in the back of the shipo, not the front. But 6098 is definately a regular, all plexiglass verandah room!

I just read here yesterday, I think, that someone figured out they had an upgrade...the text still read the category they booked, but the room number was in an a higher category.

Since you are sailing with a "guaranteed" room category, I would not be certain of the room number until you actually receive your cruise documents with that information printed on it. It is still subject to change.
