Mitral Valve Prolapse.... Anyone else have it?

I have it too, was diagnosed when I was about 8 years old.
I take the antibiotics the same as everyone here, mainly prior to dental work. If I forget, they send me home and I come back the next day.
As far as having a C Section disneymouse, you wouldn't have premedicated even if you knew. You only premed if it's what the consider a "dirty surgery", one where they can't stearalize everything.

I have it, but just found out about it. I've had heart palpatations ever since I can remember. Some are so strong, it makes it hard for me to breath.

I can't even begin to tell you the amount of dental work I've had, where I took no meds and I'm still alive and kicking. Of course now that I know I have it, I'll take precautions.
