The Misty Mate you fill with water and than manual pump it for the pressure. It has a small hose with a clip that hooks onto your clothes. And you just turn a little knob for a very fine mist. You can wear the misty mate around your waist like a fanny pack or strap it to the stroller.

I can only travel to FL in the summer, so we KNOW we will need our misty mates. We have two, a small one and a large one.

My kids take the small one and hubby carries the large one in a backpack with the tube/nozzle sticking out.

They are not heavy. You do not have to fill them all the way to the top, because you need air to create the pressure for the mist.
You can also put in a few ice cubes to make the mist chilled!

They clip around your waist or you can carry them like a purse with the strap! You will love these MUCH better than the fan things. The mist is just enough to cool you off, but not soak you.
