We will be going to Disney in July and I remember seeing those misting fans years ago, do they still have them? Does anyone have any pictures or an idea on prices? thanks!

We bought them in April of 2012 and they were $17 each. I'm not sure if the price has increased since then but we're bringing them with us on our upcoming trip.

We brought our own from CVS for $5. I think when I looked when we were just there it was around $16.

We got one in May, somewhere between $15-20. Sorry I don't remember the exact amount. The one we bought at CVS for like $7 was actually better because the water spray was mistier and the fan on it was stronger (we had three kids fighting over it).

I use a mini-sized camping Polypro wash cloth thingy with a dribble of ice water from my plastic drinking bottle. Can also throw rag in a zip bag with an ice cube. Whoa hey no batteries and bulky cargo. My camera gets wet. Oh that was the leaky fan bottle last time. Um use 2 zip locks.

We bought a WDW misting fan at a kiosk near Rock n Roller Coaster a few Summers ago for about $15.00 or so. It has a dark blue bottom and yellow fan. It holds a good amount of water and has a strap to wear cross body. Although there are five of us, we only bought one. We don't like lugging a lot of things through the park. We take turns carrying and using as needed. Works for us!:goodvibes:thumbsup2

I've tried saving money by buying them from Walmart and they are so cheaply made, I will spend the extra $ and buy another one from Disney if we need it!

BTW, if you buy a fan from Disney, you can exchange it if it breaks.

I saw some really nice ones last year at Home Depot. Not sure if they have them this year, but it was a mist and a fan.

We own a WDW but I didn't realize that. Thanks for pointing that out.:goodvibes
