mister fans

if you really really want a mister fan, although I hate them, I have found them at walmart by the House Fans section, Housing Supplies on the bottom row, in a bin, for $4. Sometimes you can find them in the Camping Section. They can be found in both the camping section and travel sections in Target. Bass Pro Shops and Outdoor World sell them too sometimes. I live in the panhandle of Florida, if you drive you can always stop by a florida walmart on your way down, or fly and stop by via taxi or rental car on your way to hotel.

this my fan that keeps my dry and cool and i love it to death...

I'm assuming you live in NJ, if you do, don't wait to get one.

I'm in SW PA and there was only few of them in a clearance box at Walmart this weekend and yes next to the box fans.

That's good advice - mister fans are a "seasonal" item in many parts of the U.S., and hard to find unless it's spring/summer season. You may still be able to find them in stores now. If not, check a sporting goods store (my local "Big 5" sporting goods store often has seasonal items in the storage room; you just have to ask, and they'll get them for you. Bought a "pool noodle" for one of my WDW trips one year, and they got one for me out of storage.)

Just at Walmart this morning and they still had a small box of them at the end of the fan isle.

Target had the small Misty-Mate knockoffs earlier in the summer but I haven't seen them lately. We've purchased the WalMart fans and some worked well, others died quickly. But it was still cheaper than purchasing them at Disney.

I would also advise the OP to look NOW. Our local grocery store put our their Halloween candy several weeks ago - I guess summer ends in early August here in Rhode Island. ;)
