This is all over CNN in depth. These "missionaries" didn't have the proper paper work. In facth, they went to the office and decided NOT to wait to get the proper paperwork OR to follow proper procedures. They took it upon themselves to follow whatever "mission" they decided they were on. The supposedly put in paperwork for a permit to allow some hotel, where they were going to be bringing the kids to, to be turned into an orphanage facility. But,
that paperwork hasn't been approved yet, and the hotel is a loooooong way from being able to house the kids, like 6 MONTHS of work away. That is IF they were even going to turn the hotel into an orphanage and not simply use it for child prostitution. They would have been in no better living conditions.
Some of these children even still have an existing, LIVING relative in the country.
If Haiti allows them to get away with this, then essentially they would be opening the door to let (other) real human traffickers in.
Do not be so naive and emotionally fooled. Just because people say they are doing work on behalf of "God," doesn't make them right.

These people thought they were above laws and procedures because they were on a mission for God.
