Mission Space Question

I have read the reviews and the posts about how to attempt the ride (around 4pm). I am wondering if anyone knows or has some 'feeling' as to how long the ride is operational when it is open. Is it only for an hour or does it remain open for the rest of the night? Going with five teens and would love to surprise them with my 'saavy' by getting them on this ride.

It is normally open until park closing. Every day that I've gone after work it has been open, so I'm guessing that they are opening nightly.

Thank you! Does that mean the posted 6pm or 9pm closing? I see on the Disney site that parts of Epcot close at different times now although I don't recall that happening when I've been there in the past.

Mission Space usually stays open until park closing, so 9pm usually. I rode it about 8:00pm when I rode it a couple weeks back. Most of FW closes at 6pm but Mission Space, Test Track and Spaceship Earth all remain open until park closing.

We rode it last week and it was open exactly from 4PM to 9PM. It was awesome. I did take dramamine which did help.

Keep in mind that dramamine (especially the patch) can cause trouble if you're out in the sun/heat and don't drink enough. Keep cool and drink plenty of water.
