My DH and I were at WDW this last week and went on Mission Space. I was nervous for my DH because his motion sickness has been getting more and more severe the last couple years. He would have been willing to skip MS, but with all the reading I've been doing here I knew that it was possible for a person who gets motion sickness to be fine on the ride and visa versa.
I'd also read about ginger capsules and how they could help prevent motion sickness without side effects (bonine makes up VERY sleepy). We went on MS, my DH loved the ride, and he didn't fell sick at all. He couldn't believe that he'd been spinning. He followed the instructions "to the T", BTW. Of course we have no way of knowing if it was the ginger that helped, but I was so glad that my DH could ride it and enjoyed it so much. We rode another time that day and once another day.
We got the 1000mg (I think that mg is the measure) capsules and he took one or two a day.
