WDWMagic.com reports that one of the four centrifuges has entered the "test and adjust" phase, using Epcot CMs as guinea pigs. Whether that is true or not I do not know, but it sure sounds great, considering the rumored official opening is still well over half a year away.

I updated the Mission: SPACE FAQ on my web site with that information and a tidbit on the sponsorship, which seems to have now officially been passed on to HP.

There allready testing? That sounds good.... I'm going in Febuary, on Presidents weekend, do you think that they might have a soft opening?

Sounds like its coming along good. I hope they don't run into a lot of problems with the ride system.

Yeah, me too! We went to WDW in 1998 when Test Track was supposed to have 1st opened... this board wasn't here, and we weren't even online. The guidebooks, since they are printed 1/2 year in advance was touting the arrival, and so we went to Epcot on EE morning 1st thing to ride Test Track, only to find out that it had been closed and it would be at least another couple of months before all of the kinks were worked out. Here's hoping that Mission Space avoids all of those pitfalls!

What kind of ride is this? I hope they kill that annoying purple dragon ride soon too. (Figment) I know a lot of people love that ride, but everytime I was forced to go on there was no line. Then I have that horrible song stuck in my head for months. AHHH! I'm hearing now!
