How intense is the green Mission Space? I am pretty sure there is no spinning. I am wondering if I could handle that part of the ride. I have never tried it.

It's like watching a movie on a very small screen - it is a simulation of what you'd see out your space capsule window. Very little feeling of movement, simulated or real. You are with three other people are in a tight, enclosed space.

I found it boring compared to the Orange experience.

It's not intense but if you're prone to motion sickness you could have issues. It is also a very tight space. Made me feel a little claustrophobic.

We went on green Mission Space last week for the first time. No spinning. The motions that I remember were being laid back on our backs in preparation for liftoff, rotated forward, rotated from side to side (like an airplane banking) and being rotated forward. I enjoyed it, but it was a little intense for my 8 year old daughter and my wife, who suffers from claustrophobia, didn't like it.

I want to try Orange next!

Edit: I forgot one problem that I had. When the ride is over, the shoulder bars are released automatically and swing up quickly. When the should bar popped up, it pulled my hat and glasses off.

Also, you have to stow your backpack or purse in a bin in front of you and its inaccessible during the ride. Make sure you don't have much in your pack, since the bin isn't huge.

I did green a few years ago for the 1st time. I will never do it again. Some simulator rides get to me so it just wasn't a good combo of simulator, enclosed space, & being held down by the shoulder harness. I hated it. There is no spinning, just some slight swaying with the storyline, but it is not a relaxed ride in my opinion.

I get motion sickness on simulator type rides and I have only done MS green once and would never do it again. I had to keep my eyes closed the entire time

My mom puked after the orange side but does the green side no problem.
I still feel bad for telling her she wouldn't feel the spinning. And this was before the barf bags were added.:sad2:

I love Mission Space Green & do it multiple times each trip. No spinning. Just an immersive experience with the screen. If you are claustrophobic, it could be an issue. No problem getting into the simulator but the control centre must close up tight to you so that could be a problem for some. No where near as rough as something like Dinosaur in AK. No worries!

So, just so I understand, if Star Tours makes you queasy and you wouldn't do the tea cups, or the astro orbiter either, you should only ride the "no spin" version, at best? It just sounds so cool and I am so disappointed with myself :sad1:

I've read a few comments about it possibly feeling a bit claustrophobic; is that exclusive to the orange side, or applicable to both?

Maybe checking it out on youtube might help? Hate to introduce a spoiler but might give you a heads up if this is something you could do or not.

I'm prone to motion sickness and I felt a little queasy on green but less than I felt during star tours. I would do ms green again (but not star tours).

teacups make me honk, star tours is terrible, rnr made me weak in the knees, and primevil hurl....well let's just say there's a reason I call it that, but I have no problem with mission space orange.

I think maybe with a strong dose of Bonine the night before and day of, I should try this! Last ride of the day maybe, in case it doesn't go well....

I am prone to motion sickness. I cannot ride the Tea Cups, but I have never gotten sick on Mission Space green side. My husband suggested that I look at the very center of the screen and not close my eyes. It worked! I even got brave and tried the orange side. I used the same strategy and didn't get sick. Hubby got queasy though! Not a good idea to eat chicken alfredo before you head to Mars!
