On our trip in November, I know that I will not ride Mission Space, but I believe that both my DH and DS will! I would love to be able to see the pre and post ride areas. Is there an area where I can stand in line with them, exit without riding and then meet them in the Post Ride area? Thanks in advance for all answers!

You can go through the queue area and pre show with your DH and DS. We rode Mission Space early in August and were given several chances to "chicken out" along the way. You can even see the space capsules before exiting so definitely go and check it out, even if you don't intend to ride!

I was wondering the same thing. I know my DH and DD will ride it, but I may need the chicken exit.

I had the opportunity to ride Mission Space several times last week and found it to be an awesome ride. They are very persisent in encouraging people to "chicken out" throughout the whole pre-ride process. You are continuously warned about the extreme nature of the ride. The chicken exit is just outside of the actual ride modules.

I knew this ride must make many sick when a ride operator attendant gave many verbal warnings about looking sideways and closing eyes right before boarding. She also reminded us this was our last chance to exit. This is on top of flashing warning signs. I made the mistake and rode this Saturday. I could deal with the motion more than being confined in a small capsule. Just talked to my friend at work and they were stuck 30 minutes inside the capsule whan it broke down Sunday. I would of freaked! I will never get close to this ride again. I ride roller coasters and everything else, but this ride is just too extreme for me.

Rode MS a couple times last week. LOTS of opportunities to chicken out. They actually encourage you several times to leave if you think it's going to be too much.

Personally, I thought the first few seconds (basically the launch) were pretty intense, but beyond that, it kind of went "Star Tours" on me. Simulator - not much more.
