MISSION:Implausible

Man, what a day. I am so wiped out! This is literally the first time I have sat down today (except for driving).

Had to take Mom to run all her errands for while we are gone. Bank, Wal Mart, post office, gas station, Dr. office, drug store. That's all I can remember.
Got the kids from school, and my niece, too, b/c my sister was running late. She's 8, like my boys. Cleaned the house, played with the kids, niece left, I cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen, DH got home. Poor thing, I really felt bad for him, but he manned up.

Fed him, & the kids, got him showered, foot soaked, meds taken, playing Wow. Kids showers, dressed, in bed. And now I am sitting.

I am going to start packing tonight, a little bit.

Yea!!! 3 days!!!

When he got home he was/is exhausted. A little sore, but otherwise he's actually better than I thought he would be! But he still hates construction! (Like I told him, better crappy job than NO job!)

I just had a cup of coffee.. If I want to pack some tonight, I want to know what I'm putting in my suitcase!! If I packed as tired as I was... I would have gotten to WDW with 7 swerters, my swimsuit, and one pair of underwear!

After I posted earlier, I cleaned the hamster cage & the fish tank.
Now I don't have to worry about it tomorrow!

Just gotta clean the snake's cage, and that's easy!!

I really, REALLY don't like that snake. I mean, he's cool & all... but he's still a snake.. It is a ball python, and the boys saved their $$$ up for a whole year to get the thing. His name is Fang.

Had I known they really WOULD save their $$$ up that long... I would have never agreed to it when they asked me....

We've had him for almost a year and a half.. he's,um, gettin pretty big now..

My DD already has one. She claims they don't get as big as the other pythons. It is pretty but I refuse to watch it eat!

Well, they are only supposed to get to 4 - 5 feet, so they ARE much smaller than burmese pythons. But jiminy cricket... it's a snake!

Does your DD's eat live mice or frozen??

Ok ya'll, I need some SERIOUS good vibes, cuz I woke up with a fever this morning.

I was feeling kinda crappy yesterday, but I just chalked it up to being so busy. DH felt awful this morning, too, but no fever. I gave him some DayQuil, and he went off to work.

Right now my temp is 101.4, and I feel AWFUL. Mainly tired and achy, with stuffy nose. Ugh. This is all I need right now. We have even been taking Airborne all week so we wouldn't get sick..

I am gonna try to rest now. I was supposed to go get my hair done this mroning, but I already cancelled. I'm supposed to meet my sister at 12:30 for her final wedding dress fitting, and I REALLT need to go, b.c they lady has to show me how to do the bustle and everything. Well, if I nap for a couple of hours maybe I will feel better.

If you think you could have the flu go straight to the doctor. He can give you some Tama Flu. That stuff works. You have to start taking it within the first 48 hours of onset of symptoms. When I had the flu and I took Tama Flu I was better within 2 days. I pray that you don't have the flu but maybe you should get checked just in case. I wouldn't want your vacation to be messed up. I have been so scared to catch the flu. I made the kids get a flu shot in fact the baby had to take hers in two stages and this morning she gets her second shot of the flu shot series. I never made the time to take one for myself and now I could kick myself in the butt. I hope I don't get it. I am also taking airborne. Lets just hope for the best and I WILL pray for you. Thanks Tib (that's how I think of you, with the title of your PTR). My sister is an herbalist.. a really good one. I just called her, so she is going to make up a "cocktail" of homeopathic medicine for us to take. Man, I never believed in natural medicine, but she is always forcing something on me when we don't feel good, and the stuff WORKS. SO I am gonna take that mess.. I think I'll go ahead to the doctor and get some tamiflu. It can't hurt, right? The dress shop is right next to and family care clinic, I think I'll clip in there after the fitting.

Thanks for the pep talk, Tib. I was feeling discouraged. But, flu or no flu, I am going to WDW tomorrow!! (too tired to dance LMAO) I don't care if I have to roll 'round the Magic Kingdom on a gurney, my butt is going to have FUN!
