The AP has just reported that 4 boys are out.

YAY!!! Two are definitely out & in ambulances. Two more are expected soon.

They took the 2 weakest boys out because it may still be a couple days to get ALL the boys & the coach out.

But, since the weakest made it out, it gives everyone there great hope the rest will make it out safely too.

Its interesting, I would have thought the Navy divers death would have led them to avoiding the difficult and dangerous dive and to the wait the rainy season out plan

I thought the same thing at first, too, but I think they just didn’t want to risk any more lives, and felt they just HAD to make a move after weighing all the factors.

I'm watching ABC and they are going by actual confirmation of seeing the ambulances drive up to the entrance, pick up the boys and then drive to the helipad.

So far, we saw footage of two ambulances definitely drive away. And two more ambulances have driven up to the entrance to wait for two more boys.


I have a feeling they are bringing the boys out pretty close together though. They may have staggered the start times by only a half an hour between boys? PLUS there are two galleries above water that the boys & Seals could all rest for a while together before continuing on the next leg of the journey to the next gallery and then finally out.

They are running out of oxygen. The oxygen level in the area they were in was only down to 17% last night.

I just Googled, normally Earth's atmosphere has about 21% oxygen.

CNN is showing the helicopter just landed. A reporter is waiting at the hospital for the first ambulance to arrive there.

Oh no. Now CNN says that Thai officials have said that all 12 of the rescue divers are out of the cave for the day. So the rescue operation may be done for the evening. And the 4 boys may be the only ones out for now.

They must have started a couple hours before the press conference when the Thai authorities spoke last night. Probably soon after that green tarp went up covering the entrance.

Hearing 6 are out...1 code red and 3 others needing some care while 2 are in decent shape. Heard the other 7 are at chamber 3.

The official speaking said there are 50 foreign divers & groups helping & 40 Thai divers.

The first boy came out of the cave at 5:40 local Thai time. The second boy came out 10 min after that.

The next two boys came out at 7:40 & #4 came out about 10 min after that.

The divers have to rest, then reset more oxygen tanks in place. And make sure everything is stable before continuing with the operation.

After the conference, the officials will have have a strategy meeting with all groups involved.

The rescue operation will resume tomorrow (Thai time.) It's 10pm over there now.
