Ohhh!! OP HERE!!! Sorry I didn't get back to the thread (thanks for the PM Splash

). I normally check the DIS at home too but my laptop was stolen two weeks ago in a break-in. When I had left the thread there were only two replies
Turns out his family was in Wilmington, NC so they weren't around to call work to tell us he wasn't coming and didn't know anything was wrong.
He took a sleeping pill since he hadn't been sleeping recently and slept for
30 HOURS. He didn't move a muscle the entire time, and didn't wake to phone calls or banging on the door. His friend from work used a key under the mat to get in his house and saw that he was sleeping. He was still breathing but his friend couldn't wake him even after over 24 hours of sleep. His friend just waited to see if he was going to wake up- if he didn't, he was going to get someone to help take him to the hospital that afternoon. When he finally woke up, he said he couldn't initially even move but was back to normal within a few hours.
I finally heard from him around 1pm the next day. He had been sleeping since 6am the day before
Thanks so much for all the concern. I didn't mean to post then leave you hanging. I should have known I wouldn't get replies at 3am
He's pretty much back to normal but said he's going to the doctor to find out what went wrong, and to maybe get a sleep aid that will work for him. I had gotten even more worried when a friend of his told me that the only other time he missed work without calling was when he was in a car wreck. I'm so thankful that nothing permanent happened.
Thanks guys
