Hi,

My mother has booked for herself and my sister's family (total 3 adults, 2 children aged 6 and 12) to stay at Port Orleans Riverside in two rooms. She has a single Disney confirmation number beginning 319 and the booking was made through Thompson.

I've linked their booking via that number to My Disney Experience so we could pick the Magic Band colours out but when I do so, I only see two adults and the six year old in one room, there is no sign of the other adult or the twelve year old. Thompson are adamant that there is only one confirmation number but Disney are only showing part of the group on their system.

Is this normal when two rooms are booked through a travel agent? I'm slightly concerned that part of their group is completely missing from Disney's system. They're a very inexperienced group of travellers so the last thing they would handle is getting out there to find someone messed up and only three of them are booked!

Hi,

I'm not 100% on this but when I booked a room with Expedia it didn't link through until Expedia got the correct full reference number from Disney.

I think Disney will definitely have 2 separate numbers, one for each room, but Thomson will only have the one reference for the booking as a whole maybe.

It could be worth a call to Disney direct to see, they are incredible helpful :) xx

This is definitely on to call the Disney people about. I would hazard a guess you have zero hope of Thomson even understanding the question and they certainly can't sort out any related MDE issues. My DD was created twice for our last trip, a Disney techie sorted it out in about 5 minutes :)

Yes I've spoken to Thomson and they don't have the first clue what I'm talking about! As far as they're concerned the "missing" two are on their system and that's all they know.

It sounds to me like the other two people are under a different booking reference.

Thomson use the same reference for bookings with two rooms but for some reason Disney don't.

A call to Disney should sort it out. If not then get Thomson to send a email out to the resort who will provide the missing reference, then you can link the new reservation on MDE.
