Missing one nite...ughhh

After inviting my brother and fam many times, and they weren't really interested, I casually mention our F&W trip this year....I get peppered with a lot of questions... whats it like...ect, ect....long story short, I ask if they want to come...expecting him to say, like he has before, thanks for thinking of us, but probable not. And that's perfectly OK... except, he says, we already talked about if you ever offer again, we would love to go with you!

People... I'm past the 7 month mark... they want to stay near us... we're at BCV...UGHHH


Any ways, I was able to book all nites except a Sunday nite at BWV (1BR-garden)... so I wait listed. And of course its in the middle of our stay

I know the obvious F&W, but anything else going on Sept 30th?

Just trying determine if I should book it as cash ....

It is in the tail end of FD, MNSSH, and F and W. I would book missing night on cash, and wait list. It may come through.

Don't hate it when there's one night missing. People must vacation very differently than my family. We always go for a week - Sat to Sat. I remember being very surprised the first dates in the middle of the week were unavailable.

I would let them call Disney and book their own room, but that's just me.

I just cancelled my BW 1 bedroom garden view room today for the week of Sept 30....maybe some pixie dust will happen for you...or at least move you up on the waitlist

I am in a similar situation at BWV the last week of October - 1 bedroom garden view. We are a Wednesday thru Tuesday stay and only Thursday night was not available at the 7 month point. I have a SV at Kidani as back-up. If the Thursday night does not come thru by 31 days out, I will cancel BWV and stay at Kidani. Like a lot of folks, for the convenience to F & W, I really want to BWV.

I would book the one night on cash, you can cancel if you get your wait list. Better to have something at the same place.

Keep checking online. I have seen rooms appear when there were none the day before.

That weekend is also the Tower of Terror 10 mile race on Saturday night with a party at Hollywood Studios so that may be a factor in getting a room.

Timing is everything on the new online site. I have seen days sold out and come back later and it is there.

I have no idea how they fill the wait list or when but if I was short a room I would be checking online often.

Are you talking about the last full week or the week of the 28, if its the week of the 28 there were rooms online earlier today for that Thursday.
