Hi! It's been a while since I have been on the Disneyland page (our last trip was January 2022) and it seems like all the helpful "pinned" posts are gone. I'm looking for updated rope drop strategies, genie plus strategies, links for discounts, food, etc. Where did they all go? Anyone have links to favorite threads to help me in my planning? We're headed back for a 2 day trip in a few weeks and I'm not sure what has changed since January 2023 or how MMRR has changed things. Thanks for your help!

(I know my signature box is very outdated but it still makes me smile so I'm keeping it)

Is this the thread you are looking for? https://www.disboards.com/threads/r...lanes-and-individual-lightning-lanes.3863236/ I found it by using the magnifying glass search function.

MMRR, and the re-opening of ToonTown hasn't changed much. It was busy when it first opened, but it has calmed down since then.

When is "a few weeks"? Are you visiting in August or in September? Also, who are you traveling with (ages of kids, etc) and what types of rides, activities, food are you interested in?

We were there in Feb of 2022 and just went in June of 2023 and besides toon town reopening everything is the same. Maybe the hotel early entry plus I noticed that they were not letting everyone in the fast pass line go through before letting stand by go. They would still let a lot of the fp line go thought but would stop them to let a lot of the stand by line in which was not happening when we went in Feb of 2022

Thanks for the replies and the link. So, I don't need a specific strategy for MMRR? Is it part of Genie+ or a paid ILL? Seems like the strategy for Rise is pretty much the same as when we were there. Pay for it, lol. We won't have early entry so I'm guessing it won't be a good option to rope drop it?

Did I read somewhere that web slingers is now part of Genie+?

I found the thread on fishing for MEP and that was very helpful. Not sure why it is closed to new replies? We were just starting to figure out fishing when I was there last.

We will be there 8/7-8/8, myself, my married son and his wife and my 17 year old daughter. One park per day tickets. Staying at the Anaheim Hotel (first time there--any experiences?)

Rise is often not open at rope drop. It also goes down frequently throughout the day.

Personally, I wouldn't purchase LL for MMRR as the queue is fun to walk through.

You can find which attractions are Genie + and which are LL on the website: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/genie/lightning-lane/
