OK, I read the link. But i don't think i read the same story as y'all. I never saw anything in the story posted that the husband released details of her death. All i read was that he gave information about the disappearance to somebody and it wasn't the police. He is a suspect though. Has been since almost the beginning. "Person of interest" is a polite term for suspect.
As far as calling off the search in the landfill goes. It was always a shot in the dark even with the dogs. Maybe they changed the story from when you posted it. But right now i don't see any gruesome details in it. Certainly not that he admitted to killing her. Though i won't be surprised if he does admit it.
I don't understand how he's staying in the psych ward all this time unless he is totally out of it. I wonder if the police are really holding him there.
I don't think he was as smart as Scott Peterson in covering his tracks. If I was his family, I would say to him just tell the truth, everyone is onto you anyway. At least end the suffering of not knowing where she is.
For me the gruesome details were just the story. He wasn't in school, bought a matress, her hair in the dumpster, he in the psyche ward. It just is chilling.
Fox News did an update and said that he still did not admit to it but alluded to a third party that her body is in the landfill. They suspect he stabbed her to death in her bed. He probably will be arrested on Monday.
The mattress he tried to get rid of in a dumpster had no sheets and a potion of the mattress was cut out. It is believed she is wrapped up in her sheets & padding the landfill.
